WordPress
Patti has extensive experience developing courses using Lighthouse, a custom WordPress plugin developed by AT&T.
Due to the proprietary nature of these courses, she is not able to share them as samples. However, her WordPress skills are displayed in this website which she designed and developed.
Lectora
This sample is a short excerpt from a course Patti created using Trivantis Lectora.
To reduce potential issues with viewing, Patti has created a video to demonstrate the flow and functionality of the first two lessons. The video moves quickly to demonstrate functionality. Please pause the video if you would like to read the text on the pages.
Please note: All proprietary information has been removed from this excerpt. Proprietary safety information was replaced using safety tips from the following website: www.atlantictraining.com.
Storyline 360
Patti has created a number of courses using Articulate Storyline 360. However, almost all of the content in these courses is proprietary, for internal use only.
This sample is a video of several pages created using Storyline 360 that include public information only. Although these pages do not demonstrate the advanced functionality Patti has used in other courses, the content in the pages is public information and, thus, suitable to share online.
Please note: The video includes audio instruction. Please adjust your speakers prior to opening.
Also note the video moves quickly to demonstrate functionality. Please pause the video if you would like to read the text on the pages.
Writing Expertise
In addition to her work in instructional design and technical documentation, Patti is an accomplished author and speaker. She has written and published two books. Her first, Press Play, was originally published by Multnomah / Random House.
Revised and re-released by Deepwater Press under the title Barefoot in a Broken World, this book is an example of Patti’s overall writing expertise.
Barefoot in a Broken World is available on Amazon and in bookstores.
The sample provided is Chapter 1.
